Sheestown is known locally as "the place of the lush grass", and is home to Philip O'Brien who has farmed this land for half a century. This whisky was matured in 35% American first fill oak, 21% virgin American oak, 25% premium French oak and 19% casks previously used to age Vin Doux Naturel fortified wines.
