This Marine Fuel Pump is the "newer style" (Until the early 90's) that was vented on the bottom where that tube went back into the carburetor

1978 & 1990 and the 982304 fits all the models in-between (1979-1989) it would make sense that these are identical

minor pitting on the mating surface on the outermost edges of the flange where there are holes in the mating gasket to block the water passage (this is normal)
