Antique Japanese Elm Hibachi The Roost Circa 1960Antique Japanese hibachi from the Kyoto region, made from elm circa 1900. Used originally to heat drinks and generally keep the room warm, now repurposed as a coffee table. It has a copper lined box where you'd originally have your coals, it'd be perfect for storing magazines or you could have a piece of glass over the hole. There are three long drawers on the side and one lidded compartment on top. The colour of the wood is stunning and i'm obsessed
